WERD's Commitment to Safe Shipping

Certification in Dangerous Goods Transport

Empowering Our Team

At WERD, there is a focus on developing the employees' skills. In September, we arranged for three of our warehouse workers to attend a course on the shipment of lithium batteries and the applicable transport regulations within ADR, RID, IMDG, and IATA. The course involved comprehensive training on proper packaging, handling, and labeling of our products containing lithium batteries. Furthermore, our employees became experts in identifying faulty batteries to ensure they are not dispatched, and to determine which ones can be recycled.

This investment in courses raises the bar for our internal operations but also assures our clients that their shipments are handled with the utmost care and expertise. At WERD, we believe that an empowered team leads to safer, more reliable deliveries, underlining our dedication to providing quality service every step of the way.

Safety is a important element in our daily operations. By empowering our employees through various courses, we not only meet industry regulations but also create a secure environment for both our employees and the valuable shipments of our clients.

The entire WERD team congratulates Line, Bo, and Klavs on becoming certified in IATA, ADR IMDG, and RID. We hope that the certification will contribute to enhancing understanding and motivation in your daily work.

It was truly a worthwhile investment, as we received a thorough overview of dangerous materials handling, with a focus on the proper handling of lithium batteries. This knowledge is invaluable and will not only enhance our day-to-day operations but also significantly strengthen our safety procedures. Now, we feel much more competent and secure in working with these materials.

Having the opportunity to participate in this course has been a fantastic experience for the three of us. We now feel that we have gained a much deeper understanding and improved skills in handling dangerous materials, especially lithium batteries. It means a lot to us to feel that the WERD values our development and invests in our professional skills in this way.

The course has giving us more knowledge in the field. While we were already familiar with much of the material, gaining a more in-depth understanding of the various labels was enlightening. Undoubtedly, this has better equipped us to navigate the handling of these materials, and we are now more aware of the crucial details that ensure safety and compliance with rules and regulations.
